Apple Crisp

Ingredients:
- 5 peeled apples and sliced thin
- 1 1/2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (cold)
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
Directions:
- Heat oven to 350F
- Grease an 8 pan
- Spread a layer of the apple slices in the pan
- Sprinkle some lemon juice on the apples
- Repeat until no apples are left. Make sure apples are densely packed
- In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar, butter, cinnamon and salt. With hands, mix until a uniform, coarse "meal" is generated
- Pour mix over apples and tighten. Make sure there's a uniform layer of the crisp over everything and that it is sealed well. Especially near the rim of the pan
- Bake for about an hour. Until golden. Serve warm with vanilla ice-cream...yum!
