  • 1 large onion
  • 1 cup green lentils
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup bulghur wheat
  • Cut onion into small squares and saute in olive oil on a very low flame until golden.
  • Add one cup lentils to onion, add two cups water and cook until lentils are soft.
  • In separate pot, mix bulghur with two cups water and cook until soft.
  • When both are ready, mix together bulghur and lentils and add salt and pepper.
