- 1 large onion
- 1 cup green lentils
- 3 cups water
- 1 cup bulghur wheat
- Cut onion into small squares and saute in olive oil on a very low flame until golden.
- Add one cup lentils to onion, add two cups water and cook until lentils are soft.
- In separate pot, mix bulghur with two cups water and cook until soft.
- When both are ready, mix together bulghur and lentils and add salt and pepper.
