Blueberry Scones

  • 2 1/4 Cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Butter chilled
  • 1 Cup blueberries (frozen or fresh)
  • 3/4 Cup Half-and-Half or a mix of milk and sour cream
  • 1 egg


  • Preheat oven to 350F
  • In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt and butter. Use hands to crumble the butter into small pieces
  • Add blueberries to flour and coat with flour
  • In a small bowl, whisk together egg, dairy and sugar
  • Pour liquid into flour, mix just until moistened. Knead few times. Do not over handle
  • Cut, spoon, or hand-form about 10 lumps on a greased pan
  • Bake 20-40 minutes, until slightly browned
