This dwarf is very similar in structure to the elf, but with a smaller graft for the axe. I think the beard makes him look like Santa Claus! This model was folded from 10" American foil.

The first time I tried to fold one was in 2002. Version 1.3 was quite irregular and difficult to fold. It also wasted a lot of the paper to make the tail come from the center. I revised the design a year later. The graft around the top and left is 1/8th of the paper.
