Mathematics I'm a recent Phd (graduated from UC Berkeley's Mathematics department in 2006) and a current Instructor (Post-Doc) at MIT's Applied Mathematics Department.
I'm mainly interested in the mathematical solution of physical and biological problems. I've looked at optimization problems, non-linear advection, inhomogeneous diffusion, numerical methods for conservation laws, and, curiously, asymptotic results in combinatorial problems.
Most of my publications and preprints can be found on the arXiv.
