June 2009: Jin Woo Shin and Shreevatsa Rajagopalan have won the Kenneth C. Sevcik Outstanding Student Paper Award at the ACM Signmetrics/Performance 2009 Conference.

June 2009: Lara Dolecek will join the Dept. of EE, UCLA in the late Fall of 2009.

June 2009: Urs Niesen will join Alcatel-Lucent Bell Laboratories in the Fall of 2009.

May 2009: Kyomin Jung has successful defended his PhD thesis in the Department of Mathematics. He is now Assistant Professor of Computer Science at KAIST.

Dec. 2008: Srikanth Jagabathula has won the Outstanding Student Paper Award at the NIPS 2008 Conference.
