		<description>Email may very well be the most constructive tool since the industrial age.

However, like any sharp knife that can cut in more directions than one, I guess the question would need to encompass how its actually used.

As an aside, the most productive people in many of the offices that I work in, are those that won't open email until near the end of the work day.

This is quite frustrating if there is an urgent message that they need to respond to right away, however, its hard to fault their focus and their office productivity is sometimes a magnitude higher than their work buddies.</description>
