Please note the slight changes in the order of the classes. Thank you! The MIT Ballroom Dance team is proud to sponsor a series summer beginner social classes. The classes are open to the public. No dance experience? No problem! These classes are targeted at complete beginners. No partner? It doesn't matter! We will rotate through partners in the classes. No cash? Each dance class only costs a buck!
Classes will be held this summer on the 3rd floor of Building 34 . Please note that these classes focus on learning fun social figures. Our technique-based competitive training starts in the fall!

MITBDT competed at the Brown Ballroom Competition on November 11th. The team had a strong performance, especially at the Rookie level. The team had an all MIT final in Newcomer American Rumba, the top six couples in Newcomer American Cha, Rumba, and Swing, five or more couples in many finals. For the fourth consecutive year, MIT had also won the Newcomer Team Match. Complete results are listed at BallroomRegistrar . The team would like to thank Brown Ballroom for organizing the competition, and we hope to attend next year as well.
