On Saturday, February 7 in Morss Hall at Walker Memorial, MITBDT wants to
give you A Ballroom Valentine.
Our good friend Mr. Shakespeare once told us, "If music be the food of
love, play on." Well Will, your wish is our command! In honor of
Valentine's Day, MITBDT will be serving the food and drink of love with
our monthly social. Whether you're looking for a night with a certain
someone or a chance to fend off the Valentine's Day blues, we know you'll
fall in love with a whole evening of ballroom, especially with a lesson on
the only dance for romance: Bolero!

Please note: Due to maintenance in Sala, this dance will now be in Morss Hall, Walker Memorial.
The chestnuts are all roasted and the champagne's been put away, but
there's no need to be left in the cold. With MITBDT, it's the hottest
night of the year! Celebrate 2009 with us at our January social dance.
We'll help you fight the chill with good friends, great music, and a free
lesson on the smokin' Samba!

The temperature is dropping, the holidays are coming, and the fall ballroom season is winding down. What else could this mean but the arrival of MITBDT's winter formal?
Take a trip across the pond to the birthplace of everyone's favorite dizzy-dance: the Viennese Waltz! After long months of competing, everyone needs a little holiday fun, and there's no better way to celebrate than getting your swing, sway, and style on at the last social of 2008.
Who: All ages, open to the general public.

The MIT Ballroom Dance Team is proud to announce another monthly social dance. There will be a free beginner lesson (with admission) at 7:30 pm.  Who: All ages, open to the general public.
