The MIT Ballroom Dance team is proud to sponsor a series summer beginner social classes. The classes are open to the public. No dance experience? No problem! These classes are targeted at complete beginners. No partner? It doesn't matter! We will rotate through partners in the classes. No cash? Classes are FREE for MIT students with ID, and $5 for everyone else.
Classes will be held this summer on the 3rd floor of Building 34 . Please note that these classes focus on learning fun social figures. Our technique-based competitive training starts in the fall!

The MIT Ballroom Dance Team is proud to announce another monthly social dance. There will be a free beginner lesson (with admission) at 7:30 pm.

Summer has come, and with it comes long days of beaches and ice cream, followed by incredible nights of dancing with the MIT Ballroom Dance Team! On Saturday, June 13, hang up your surfboard and put on on your dancing shoes for a celebration of summer, ballroom, and the all-American swing. Shirt and shoes required, Beach Boy 'do optional.
Who: All ages, open to the general public.
Where: Morss Hall, Walker Memorial (MIT Building 50, 142 Memorial Dr., Cambridge)
When: 8pm - midnight (Beginner Swing Lesson at 7:30pm), June 13 Cost: $10 General Admission, $6 Students, 50% off for team members |
