Spring Break pt. 1

So it’s been a while. Lots of things have been going on. I went home for a bit, then had a week of classes, then went on Spring Break (wooooo!!!). Have been back at MIT for a bit more than a week now.
I have compiled a few photos for various days of our trip. Note: photo credits go to a few people, including Rachel Bainbridge, Sarah Hopp, Harvey Jones, and Jo Tong. It isn’t completely comprehensive, but I thought it would do a decent job of describing how things went. They are all located here.
March 21st
Our flight was delayed, and we forgot to check our flight status before we left for Logan (d’oh), so we chilled out for a while.

Upon arriving in California, we admired how clean the place was, but couldn’t find a trash can for the life of us. We took a picture of the next one we saw to commemorate the occasion.

Today was Jason’s b-day. Happy Birthday Jason! Vinayak’s sister was awesome and let us spend the night at her apartment in Berkeley. Her place was really nice, but the result of awkward spooning wasn’t great on my hair.

After a nice breakfast, we walked around Berkeley for a while. We ran into a Code Pink protest, and a Marines anti-protest protest.

UC Berkeley campus was gorgeous; this caused Sarah to hug some trees and we all agreed that California smelled amazing and we wanted to move there.

Berkeley had a fun hat store that we hung out in for a while.

We thanked Gireeja and took the BART down to Millbrae, where we met up with Jo. Fourth East also had plans of being in California apparently, and we took a group shot with them before heading to Jo’s house.

See pt. 2 for more of Spring Break.
