On weekdays, I’m a neuroscience graduate student conducting research on reading and the brain. On weekends, I’m an aspiring writer working on my first YA fantasy novel. At other times, you’ll find me singing/playing piano on a church worship band, dancing (west coast swing), or eating with friends. I also make time every day to trade insults with Jeff, my loving and equally sarcastic fiancee. Smackdowns are our love language, and the one who delivers the best jab wins.
