Cycling Coast to Coast

A few weeks ago, inspired by an SF Bicycle Coalition shirt I’d seen, I came up with a shirt design for the B2SB route.  I went through various iterations of the design, and emailed the B2SB list to see if people were interested in getting the shirt made.  They were, and now I’m taking orders. The shirts will be forest green American Apparel Jersey Ts, which are very nice and comfy (I’ve used them before), with the design in white. Depending on the number of orders I get, the shirt price will be around $12.50 each.  Anyone interested in ordering a shirt can email me or leave a comment.

Can you figure out what everything is?

In addition to this B2SB shirt, I also have Bike Boston shirts for sale, that I screenprinted by hand to sell at the bike swap.  Since we had a low turnout, I still have a lot of those shirts leftover.  I have forest green, royal blue, and black shirts with the design in silver, and also some white and light blue shirts with a black design.  $10/shirt.

Tell all your Boston-area friends!  As another fundraiser, Devon, Jess and I are organizing a bike swap on Saturday, May 3 at MIT.

What: Come buy, sell, or trade new and used bike gear (and bikes)

Why: It’s a chance for you to sell some of your old gear that’s been lying around, or to pick up some bike gear for cheap.  Also, it’s for a great cause!

$5 general admission
$15 to sell (tables provided, setup from 9-10am)

Parking: There is limited street parking on Memorial Drive and Ames St.  Your best bet would be to park in the Hayward Lot (http://whereis.mit.edu/map-jpg?selection=P5&Parking=go) or in the Cambridge Center garages on Ames St. & Broadway (see http://web.mit.edu/facilities/transportation/parking/visitors/public_parking.html).
