Graduation

June 7, 2008 | 12:15 am

I graduated today. As one of my friends put it, “I got my receipt today.”

Bike & Build starts in less than a week.  My family arrived Wednesday evening, and they leave on Sunday.  The past week has been a whirlwind of activity; packing, running errands, and getting everything settled before graduation and the start of the trip.  I’ve been so busy getting stuff done that I haven’t stopped to really realize that it’s finally time, and I have to leave this place that I’ve called home for four years.

Four years of psets, exams, and papers.  Four years of late nights, crazy shenanigans, inside jokes, rocking out, and amazing Rush projects.  There were ups and downs, but I fell in love with MIT as soon as I arrived here for CPW as a prefrosh.  My dorm, East Campus, is really much more than a dorm; it’s a home and a family, and I’ll really miss it.
