2008 was an excellent year for MIT Cross Country.
Both men and women won the NEWMAC title, the 11th in succession
for the men and the second consecutive victory for the women.
The women capped that off with a third place finish in the New
England Regional Qualifier and 10th at the NCAA Championship.
Even though the women and men both lose two of the top five to
graduation, both teams hope to capitalize on a strong recruiting
class and build on an outstanding track season to make 2009 an
even better year.
