ClubMex es un grupo de mexicanos y extranjeros del MIT (y algunos agregados) interesados en compartir y aprender sobre la cultura mexicana. Nuestro objetivo es crear y mantener una comunidad que genere una fuerte representación de México en el MIT y, dentro de lo posible, en el área de Boston y Nueva Inglaterra.

Nuestras acividades incluyen una variedad de eventos culturales, sociales y deportivos por medio de los cuales fortalecemos la unión de los mexicanos en el MIT y damos a conocer nuestras costumbres y tradiciones. También organizamos pláticas en temas de relevancia para México y apoyamos proyectos para fomentar interacciones entre MIT y México (como el programa MIT-México, http://mit.edu/mit-mexico/), además de establecer una red de exalumnos y de contactos en compañías y universidades.

Clubmex is a group of Mexicans and non-Mexicans from inside (and outside) MIT, interested in sharing or learning about the Mexican culture. Our main objective is to create and maintain a community that will generate a strong representation of Mexico within MIT as well as in the general Boston area and in New England.

Our activities include a variety of cultural, social, and sports events that both strengthen the unity among the Mexicans at MIT, and share our customs and traditions with the MIT community. We organize talks about topics relevant to Mexico and support projects to create interactions between MIT and Mexico (such as the MIT-Mexico Program, http://mit.edu/mit-mexico/), and maintain a network of alumni and contacts in companies and universities.
