Tournament Reminder Email

Email is sent to tournament captain and the person that paid the entry fee. This email includes:

    1. A list of who is signed up, and any action items needed.
    2. Cancellation deadline (if necessary).
    3. Reminder to check that all players have a Yankee membership. If players need a Yankee membership, a check must be cut by the treasurer.
    4. Reminder to submit the roster to the tournament director the week of the tournament: http://www.yankee.org/roster/
    5. Reminder to arrange car-pooling. Directions at http://www.yankee.org/directns/
    6. Reminder to bring 4 balls, uniforms.
    7. Reminder to collect fee.

You’re listed as teamcaptain for the 2/25 C+ tournament in Newton…
Can you please do the following (or assign tasks to people)?

  1. Make sure everyone can go.  Currently, the team is listed as Darcy, Kelly, Beth, Karen, Paola, Julie (darcy, klima, emccoy, kdaniel, pcappell, julie.yoo@sloan.mit.edu). IF WE NEED TO CANCEL, DARCY  NEEDS TO KNOW BEFORE FRIDAY, 2/9. You may want to email the maybes  (See website, there’s a lot).  Also, you need to decide on a setter (Caitlin Kelly, Gergana) and maybe think about sending the Nationals team.
  2. Check that all players have a Yankee membership.
  3. Submit the roster to the tournament director the week of the tournament:  http://www.yankee.org/roster/

  5. Bring 4 balls.
  6. Bring uniforms, and make one person responsible for washing and returning them to the locker (otherwise they just don’t all make it  back).
  7. Collect tournament fee: $10 for any C+ and above tournament, $5 for any C and below tournament.
