It’s a supersized ‘Ted Williams Special’ turned from a telephone pole and given to Williams by the people of Gardner, MA in 1946. It’s currently kept at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, which was the next to last stop on my roadtrip with Campo, Jack, and Dean this summer.
Actually, this meme was pretty fun, because it got me to look at a bunch of my own old photos, and my friends’ photos. I particularly liked this one from Campo…I wonder how often things get mailed b/w these two addresses.
