LDAP is a protocol optimized for fast access to records that are read much more often than they are changed. Records are stored in a hierarchy and consist of key-value pairs.

Accounts

standard LDAP user account DB to replace /etc/passwd

Vhosts

standard mod_vhost_ldap records, possibly with extensions to correlate it with an account, with contact info, etc.

Packages

keep a list of all auto-installed packages, correlated with user accounts
