MIT TechTV Expo May 17 – Open House, Awards
“Dihydrogen Monoxide,” a spoof on environmental scare shows; highlights from the FIRST Robotics Championship; and “ScreamBody,” a demonstration of a “wearable space for screaming,” are some of the videos that MIT students have uploaded to MIT TechTV (beta). MIT’s video-sharing website, which is free and open to the entire MIT community, will be on display at the MIT TechTV Expo on Thursday, May 17. Come and see demos of MIT TechTV at the Open House and stay for the student video awards. See agenda and highlights below.
Several MIT students uploaded short videos on science, engineering and “life at MIT” themes to compete in the Tech Video Showcase. Concluding the MIT TechTV Expo, Dean of Engineering Thomas L. Magnanti will award prizes to the contest winners.
